1. Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
He undergoes a very strict diet and exercise routine to gave Milkha Singh’s character justice in theatre. We were lucky to witness the actual transformation an athlete has to undergo to become a successful athlete.
Farhan gave 200% dedication to the movie. He put on a very hard track to make his character very real with his hard work and dedication. There is no doubt that it is one of the toughest characters played on celluloid.
2. Aamir Khan in Dangal
Aamir khan drastically transformed himself for the movie Dangal as for some parts of the movie, the scripts demand him to look a fatty old man and for that, he gained almost 30kgs weight to gave justice to his character and for some part of the movie the script demands him to look like an athlete so again he undergoes through a transformation and lose weight and build muscle like an athlete in just 25 weeks.
His health was drastically affected by this tough transformation but with the help of a world-class coach and trainers, he cures really fast.
The Hrithik Roshan’s character Ethan Mascarenhas was one the most challenging role of his career. He played the character very brilliantly well. In the whole movie, he expresses his feelings with his facial expressions and eyes which makes his performance very high in the movie.
4. Priyanka Chopra in Barfi
Priyanka Chopra played a mentally challenged girl character in the movie Barfi. She was left by her rich parents in the movie because of her disability and then Ranbir Kapoor’s character takes care of her which looks very nostalgic.
As she portrayed the character really well and because of her extraordinary performance, the movie won several awards that year. For the first time, Priyanka plays such type of character and she nailed it.
5. Rani Mukherji in Black
The Gorgeous Rani Mukherji played a deaf girl character in the movie, along with Amitabh Bachchan who played an old man character. But Rani’s character overshadows Amitabh Bachchan’s character in the movie as she played it really well. The movie won several awards for her commendable performance.
6. Amitabh Bachchan in Paa
Director R. Balki directed the movie ‘Paa’ in which the Bollywood mahanayak – Amitabh Bachchan played the character of an 11-year-old intelligent and witty boy suffering from a genetic disorder named ‘Progeria’.
The character’s name is Auro who is a fun-loving kid as the Amitabh Bachchan played the character really well, every emotion whether it is happy or sad clearly looks very real in the movie.
Besides this, Amitabh Bachchan won National Award for this movie.
7. Saif Ali Khan in Omkara
Saif Ali Khan one of the best characters till now is ‘Langda Tyagi’ from the movie Omkara. The character of Saif Ali khan has overshadowed all the other characters in the movie as it was brilliantly presented by him. He got several recognitions for the negative character played in this film.
8. Shah Rukh Khan in My Name Is Khan
Shahrukh khan played a mentally challenged man named Rizwan who is suffering from a mental disorder – Asperger’s syndrome.
Shahrukh khan played this role with very ease as the SRK get several recognitions for the movie, but the story of the movie was not good due to which a bunch of people finds it boring.
9. Shahid Kapoor in Haider
Director Vishal Bharadwaj directed Haider in which Shahid Kapoor turned out from a simple normal guy to a psycho murderer. who wants to kill his uncle because his uncle kills his father. The Shahid’s character Haider is played very bold as he gauges all the awards for his commendable performance in the movie.
